Why Should I Take This Course?
By completing the course, you will be confident in providing care in emergencies, meet legal requirements and help your organisation by ensuring your staff’s knowledge remains current and compliant with health and safety standard regulations. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a renewed First Aid at Work certificate, which will be valid for three years. There are two accreditation options for this certificate: the non-accredited Caring for Care Certificate or the accredited Qualsafe Award.
What Will I Learn on this Course?
The course covers modules which include the Law relating to first aid and dealing with a range of medical emergencies, including unconscious, choking, shock, minor and major injuries, poisoning, anaphylactic shock, stroke and heart attack, and epilepsy, asthma and diabetes.
This First Aid at Work Requalification Training course is suitable for employees who are current first aiders and need to renew their certification, managers and supervisors who are responsible for ensuring health and safety at work and individuals who have previous completed the Level 3 Award but need to update their skills and knowledge.
