The course is delivered virtually in cohort groups and can be purchased by individual learners, with tailored cohort packages also available for employers. Please enquire for upcoming dates, as this programme runs quarterly.

Over the 12-week programme, learners develop practical maths skills that can be applied in a wide range of real-life situations, from workplace calculations and problem-solving to budgeting, interpreting data, and making informed decisions. The course is designed to build both confidence and competence, helping learners develop skills that can be used in professional and personal contexts.

Learning is primarily delivered through self-directed online study, supported by optional monthly group sessions, one-to-one specialist support, and access to online learning resources. Learners also benefit from regular feedback, progress tracking, mock exams, and ongoing tutor support throughout the programme, helping them prepare confidently for assessment while studying around existing work and personal commitments.

On successful completion, learners achieve a TQUK-accredited Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths qualification that is recognised by employers, education providers, and apprenticeship programmes across England. This qualification can help learners access new career opportunities, meet entry requirements for further study and apprenticeships, and build confidence in using maths in everyday life.
