This opportunity means a lot to me, as I have a real passion for working with migrants. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to grow professionally, contribute to a supportive team, and continue to help and guide vulnerable young people.

One of the benefits of apprenticeships for adults is that they don’t just benefit the learner. From my perspective, my employer has benefited from me completing the apprenticeship because I bring a younger outlook and fresh ideas to the setting.

Finishing this residential care apprenticeship has been one of the biggest achievements in my career. It looks great on my CV, and will support me with my upcoming promotion. I have learned a lot about different situations and how to handle them. I also feel much more confident in my role.
