This CACHE-accredited and Ofsted-recognised level 3 award covers everything you need to become a home-based childcarer, registered childminder, childminding assistant or nanny.
This qualification also supports existing childcare professionals in improving their expertise.

Preparing to Work in Home-Based Childcare is a Level 3 Award. If you want to work in a home-based childcare setting as a registered childminder, childminding assistant or nanny, it's the perfect course for you.
This qualification is one that you can study from the comfort of your own home, and is delivered fully online.
In order to achieve the Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-Based Childcare, learners must achieve 6 credits in total.
We give you 12 weeks to complete this qualification.
This is a knowledge-only qualification; therefore, no placement in a real work environment is required.
