Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Training (3 days)

The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Training (3 days) is open to anyone aged 16 or over who is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of both adults and children in the workplace.

No formal qualifications are required to enrol on this course. However, learners should have a good level of English to follow instructions, participate in practical activities, and complete the training and assessments effectively.

This course is suitable for both new and experienced staff working in environments where they may need to provide first aid to people of all ages. It is ideal for organisations looking to equip their workforce with comprehensive first aid knowledge while meeting workplace and paediatric first aid requirements.

This course provides a certificate valid for three years upon successful completion. Learners can achieve one of two certification routes depending on organisational requirements:

• Caring for Care Certificate (Non-Accredited Route) – a high-quality in-house certification suitable for workplace training and internal compliance requirements.
• Qualsafe Awards (Accredited Route) – learners completing the alternative programme achieve the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF), regulated by Ofqual.

Both routes are delivered to the same high training standard, combining instructor-led learning with practical, hands-on assessment.
