The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification is specifically designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to progress careers and enable people to thrive while working in a childcare environment.
By the end of the course, learners will be fully equipped with everything needed to take on new responsibilities, work confidently amongst more senior childcare colleagues, and provide peace of mind for parents and families.
Completing the course earns learners a Level 2 TQUK Diploma in Early Years - once the End-Point Assessment (EPA) is passed.

Duration: 18 months including End-Point Assessment
Suitable for: Experienced childcare assistants and those wishing to become room leaders or manage Early Years provision.
Duration: 21 months including End-Point Assessment
Suitable for: Senior childcare professionals, such as Room Leaders, Early Years Leads, Deputy Managers or Managers.
This programme is specifically designed to help you enhance your experience in Early Years childcare, creating a strong foundation of skills and knowledge on which a successful career can be built.

Upon completion, you’ll be officially awarded your Level 2 TQUK Diploma in Early Years., once you achieve your passing grade at the End-Point Assessment (EPA).

The Level 2 apprenticeship qualification is the academic equivalent to a GCSE.
As a learner, nothing at all. As an employer, course costs will be covered by levy funding. If your business is not a levy payer, 95% of course costs will be covered by government funding.
The remaining 5% of the £4000 fee works out at just £200. For the value this will add to your CV and your team at work, the return on your employer’s small investment is a cost effective way for you to help boost your employer’s business as a whole.
While a Level 2 higher national diploma is a foundational-level course, achieving any qualification takes work and dedication. The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship runs for a total of 16 months. However, you do have the opportunity to finish earlier, depending on your preferred pace of working.
