Fundraising Development Coach

About the role

Are you an experienced further educational trainer who thrives on providing outstanding support to apprentices?

We are looking to recruit a Development Coach/Trainer with substantial experience in business skills training to deliver the apprenticeship standards for learners studying the level 3 Fundraiser, the level 3 Team Leader & Supervisor, and the level 5 Operations & Departmental Manager.

As a Development Coach, you will support learners throughout their learning journey to complete their end-point assessment (EPA), ensuring they have clear objectives to support timely progression whilst adhering to ESFA funding and compliance rules.

You will observe, review and provide feedback on evidence produced by learners throughout their apprenticeship, to support completion of work-based modules, EPA and meet the needs of the awarding organisation. You'll also support learners to achieve their functional skills level 2 in English and Maths if they do not hold these upon entry.

As a Development Coach at Impact Futures and The Childcare Company, you will join a team of dedicated professionals providing apprentices and qualifications to learners in a range of sectors across England. Interaction with students will primarily be through MS Teams, unless client sites suggest otherwise. This will be a remote-based role with some travel requirements.

About you

You will:

  • Hold a TAQA assessor award, either A1, D32/33 or equivalent
  • Hold a PTLLS teaching qualification or equivalent
  • Have management experience in the fundraising specialism as Fundraising Manager, Head of Fundraising or Assitant Fundraising Manager
  • Have an excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, and up to date knowledge about the apprenticeship levy
  • Have a flexible and responsive approach
  • Have Maths and English GCSE level 4 (grade c) or above or functional skills level 2
  • Hold a recognised qualification in a business services / management discipline at level 5 or above
  • Have experience in the delivery and assessment of apprenticeships in the workplace, with an excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, and up-to-date knowledge about the apprenticeship levy
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
