Yes, if you hire an apprentice or place a new employee onto an apprenticeship programme, the government will pay £1000 for doing so.
T&Cs: Employers are eligible for a £1,000 incentive for each apprentice if they: Are aged 16-18 or are aged 19-24 with an Education, Health and Care plan or have been in care.
Payments are made in two instalments by the training provider: after 90 days and after 365 days. The incentive applies to employers of any size and can be used for apprentice-related costs like uniforms, travel, or salary

From 6th April 2016, if you employ an apprentice or place an existing employee onto an apprenticeship you may not need to pay employer Class 1 National
Insurance Contributions (NICs) on their earnings below

In May 2017, the government introduced an apprenticeship tax levy for all employers that have a payroll over £3 million. This is a compulsory levy that all eligible employers pay into. The government also pays into this fund, and an eligible employer can use it only to pay towards apprenticeship programmes.
You can access funds for your apprenticeships by creating an apprenticeship account. This is the gateway for employers looking to fund apprenticeships and arrange training. The Digital Apprenticeship Service has been available since January 2017.
