About the role

We are currently recruiting for a confident, enthusiastic and target-driven individual, who has excellent sales skills to join a new area of the business.

You will be responsible for recruiting traineeship starts in line with monthly targets and identifying and coordinating work placements with the business development & sales team for opportunities for progression into employment, apprenticeship or further education.

You will be required to build and maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of referral agencies to recruit learners on to traineeship programmes through open days or direct referrals.

As a Learner Recruiter at Impact Futures and The Childcare Company, you will join a team of dedicated professionals providing apprentices and qualifications to learners in a range of sectors across England. About you

You will:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Significant and proven learner engagement and sales background, with a history of meeting and exceeding high value targets
  • Have experience in the delivery of apprenticeships, with an excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, and up to date knowledge about the apprenticeship levy
  • Have kowledge and experience of learner engagement through traineeship/apprenticeship sector and the wider education and training market. IT & Digital knowledge would be highly valued. Experience of effectively planning and tracking a sales process to achieve commercial success is also required
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with the highest levels of integrity and honesty
  • Hold a qualification at the same level of subject being taught and/or assessed
  • Have a proven background in generating new referral partners and learner leads via a variety of proactive, innovative methods inclusive of cold calling, networking and leveraging and extending existing networks. The ideal candidate would have experience of working with a wide range referral agencies such as the jobcentre
  • Have excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to plan time effectively
  • Hold a maths and English GCSE at level 4 (grace c) or above, or hold a relevant alternative qualification
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
